Agile Team Lead

Are you an Agile Team Lead with 5+ years of experience in software development? If you have a solid technical background and have a passion for Agile software development-then we have a very exciting opportunity for you. You will be working in a tight team with the opportunity to take on diverse assignments, with supportive and highly motivated colleagues.

This is a key role within the agile development team, working in close co-operation with PO and developers. The ATL is responsible for continuously improving team productivity, maintaining morale, and helping the team with agile mindset. 

The role is accountable for:

  • Owning and coaching the team on the agile process
    •  Ensuring the backlog is well maintained for upcoming sprints
    • Coaching the team on how to be more autonomous, self-organized and high-performing.
  • Ensuring that the impediments to the team are escalated and addressed. This includes resources, work environment, information, etc.
  • Facilitating the events/rituals required by the agile process and ensuring that the team is actively driving development.
  • Keeping the team focused on its mission, if needed shielding the team from interruptions.
  • Communicating deviations & risks (delays, overburden, unclarities, etc.) to the Account Manager and client. 
  • Monitor progress and way-of-working (e.g. follow up burn-down or cumulative flow diagrams and other KPIs)
  • Following the teams health and actively acting to improve it.
  • Onboarding/off-boarding of team members
  • Supporting the team in proactively identifying, communicating and resolving dependencies to ensure a smooth delivery. 

Experience :

Must have

  • Scrum master, agile team lead, or Kanban Flow Master
  • Relevant certification for the above.
  • Min 5 years in software development.
  • Min 2 years as Agile Team Lead or similar.
  • Solid knowledge within agile methodology, preferably certified.
  • Experience from system development in a complex system landscape.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills in English.
  • Good knowledge of tools used in Agile and CI/CD (Jira, Azure DevOps or similar).

Nice to have

  • Requirements Analysis or Product Owner experience
  • Training and mentoring experience
  • Working with mock-ups
  • Project Management experience
