Business objectives In order to increase quality and reduce time-to-market, Travellink asked Polar Cape to design and develop a framework for automated testing. Since they operate multiple brands, the framework needed to be flexible to test across multiple sites with high reuse of test cases.
Project solution The framework was built on Robot Framework, and using different test tools such as Selenium where needed. Trouble shooting was made easier using clickable reports and screen capture in case of failed test cases. To put the control in the hands of the test team, the framework that we developed was based on a keyword and data driven approach, abstracting the business terms from the underlying technical test integrations.
